Lovely Feet Ministries Statement of Beliefs

In the Bible as the inspired, infallible and authoritative word of God (2Tim3:16).
In one God (Deut 6:4) eternally existing in three distinct persons, the Father (Rom 1:7), the Son (John 1:1) and the Holy Spirit (Acts 5:4).
In the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ (John 1:1, Col 1:15), His virgin birth (Luke 1:27), His sinless life (2 Cor 5:21, 1 Pet 2:22), His vicarious death (Rom 5:18), His bodily resurrection (1 Cor 15:4), His ascension to heaven (Act 1:9-11) where He is seated far above all rule and authority (Eph 1:21), and His personal return to receive the Church as His own (John 14:3, Eph 5:27).
In the fall of all mankind through the sin of Adam (Rom 5:12), resulting in our separation from God (Rom 3:10-12), slavery to sin (Rom 6:16, 7:24) and our need of salvation, redemption and reconciliation to God (Rom 3:23).
In faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as the only means of providing salvation (Acts 4:12) deliverance from slavery to sin (Rom 7:25), redemption (Col 1:14) and reconciliation to God (2 Cor 5:19) resulting in a new birth of the believer (2 Cor 5:17).
In water baptism in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Mt. 28:19).
In the filling and indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit functioning in the believer today (1 Cor 12:1-12).
In the bodily resurrection (1 Cor 15:13).
In the sanctifying power of Christ Jesus (1 Cor 1:2), the word of God (Eph 5:26) and the indwelling work of the Holy Spirit (1 Pet 1:2, Rom 8:2-6), enabling the believer to live a holy life (1 Cor 6:11).
In the power and authority of the name of Jesus over Satan and his demons and everything that exalts itself above God (Mk 16:17, 2 Cor 10:5 Phil 4:10).
In the fellowship and the unity of all members of the body of Christ (1 Cor 12:27).
In the command of Christ to go into all the world, empowered by the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8), preaching the gospel to all creation and making disciples (Mk 16:15, Rom 10:17).
